Beef Shares
Why?
A beef share is a great option for people who have the freezer space and budget to store and buy a larger quantity at one time. It is very convenient to always have high quality meat on hand at home and avoid that extra trip and hassle when you can. Buying a beef share from your local rancher is a traditional way to buy meat where the cuts of beef you have on hand, and therefore the meals you will prepare and eat, will represent the natural distribution of the animal.
What?
When you pick up your beef, each cut is individually wrapped, labeled and frozen. You will receive about 50% of your final cut & wrapped product as ground beef and the balance will include steaks, stew, roasts, short ribs and soup (or Fido!) bones. If you would like some organ meat to be included in your beef share, please let us know and we will give you an estimated additional cost to include. Each quarter beef share will occupy approximately 3-4 cubic feet of freezer space.
